It's been a long time since I blog, so after many things that happened to my life in the last couple of weeks, I decided to come back.

I used to blog years ago, and my blog's name was Direto da Cozinha (Straight from the Kitchen), and I did that on the side, so I never really pushed forward to make it happen.

I'm an inspire food photography, I mean I'm still learning the basics, but I love so much! And that's why I decided to start blogging again to share my photos and see my improvement.

I'm a chef and I'm in Salt Lake City Utah. If you name a position in the restaurant business, believe me I already did. From dishwasher to business owner, I worked every position in between. What is difficult about it is the fact that I'm completely overqualified for my field, and unfortunately I'm not getting any job offers that are willing to pay me what I deserve as a professional with my qualifications.

The only solution would be to open a business again, like a restaurant or pushing to make The Sweet Brigadier happen for real this time!

And you know what? I decided that! I really don't want to go back to work for corporations or any business to make them money, because I know how to do it, I know how to manage and make money. Why not do that for my own business?

Wth that in mind, I decided to start this blog to share recipes, and kitchen tips in a way that is real! Not like most of blogs where they do so much "make up" on the food and when you make it, it doesn't look like anything showing in the picture.

Also, my website got a new make cover and looks way cuter than before! Here you can shop my truffles and services such as food stylist, private chef or business consultant.
